Ukrainian air defense destroys all 24 enemy Shaheds last nights

Last night, the Russian occupation forces attacked Ukraine by Shahed kamikaze drones, Ukrainian Air Force Commander Mykola Oleschuk has said on Monday, adding that the country's air defenses destroyed all 24 drones launched by the enemy.

"On the night of August 5, 2024, the Russian occupiers launched Shahed kamikaze drones from Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Russia. The air surveillance troops of the Air Forces detected and tracked 24 attack drones. During an air defense battle, all of the enemy drones were shot down by mobile fire crews of the Ukrainian defense forces, anti-aircraft missile units and electronic warfare of the Air Force in Kyiv, Vinnytsia, Kirovohrad, Kharkiv, Sumy, Poltava, and Dnipropetrovsk regions," he said on the Telegram channel.
