Two people injured as occupiers 41 times shell borderline settlements in Chernihiv, Sumy regions
The Russian invaders continue to shell the borderline territories of Chernihiv and Sumy regions, the Pivnich (North) Operational Command has said on Saturday morning, reporting that two local residents were injured in Sumy region.
The enemy used 122mm and 82mm cannon artillery, MLRS, 120mm mortars, drones of varying types, air bombs and missiles to attack the regions, it said on Facebook.
In Sumy region, four explosions were recorded in Loknia, reportedly from guided air bombs, and twelve explosions were recorded in Zhuravka, reportedly from unguided missiles fired from a helicopter.
In the Konotop district, five explosions were recorded in Boyaro-Lezhychi, reportedly after explosives were dropped from drones.
"Two civilians were injured as a result of this attack," the command said.
