Ukraine's Defense Ministry delivers 540 containers, modular structures to military units

Since the beginning of 2024, the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine has provided military units with 97 block containers, 438 modernized sea containers and five modular structures to improve the accommodation conditions for military personnel.

According to the press service of the department, the provision is carried out in three main areas: mobile block containers, converted sea containers, barracks or modular canteens.

"Particular emphasis is placed on providing individual units, military units, training centers and other structures involved in the training of personnel. Modular structures allow us to quickly respond to the needs of the military in various locations, providing comfortable service conditions even in difficult circumstances," according to the report.

The delivery is carried out by the Main Directorate of Capital Investments and territorial executors on the instructions of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine within the limited funding from the state budget.
