Russia stations two carrier Kalibr ships in Black Sea - AFU Navy
The Russian occupation Fleet put two missile carriers on duty in the Black Sea with a total salvo of up to eight cruise missiles, the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine informed about the situation on Friday morning.
"As of 06:30 on August 2, 2024, there are two enemy ships in the Black Sea, which are carriers of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to eight missiles; there are no enemy ships in the Sea of Azov; two enemy ships in the Mediterranean Sea, of which one is a carrier of Kalibr cruise missiles with a total salvo of up to 16 missiles," the Navy said on the Telegram channel.
It is also reported that during the day, in the interests of the Russian Federation, the passage of the Kerch Strait was carried out: six ships entered the Black Sea, two of them continued to move towards the Bosphorus Strait; six ships entered the Sea of Azov, one of them moved from the Bosphorus Strait.
