Ukraine to start talks on security guarantees with another European country – Zelenskyy
Ukraine is starting talks on security guarantees with another European country tomorrow, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said on Thursday.
"Our relations with the partners: we are working on deals, preparing agreements already this August. Among them there is a security agreement – talks with another European country are starting tomorrow," he said in a video address without specifying the name of the country.
Also, according to Zelenskyy, visits by foreign leaders to Ukraine are being prepared.
"It is very important to ensure sustainability of our state for years, and it will guarantee even more opportunities for us now, this year, taking into account the challenges and threats we are facing," he said.
The president underlined that the key task now is to support Ukraine's defense forces as well as the state budget and social sustainability.
As reported, the prime ministers of India and Ireland planned to visit Ukraine by the end of this summer and at the beginning of fall.
