MFA: Ukraine should be able to strike military targets inside Russia
The only solution to protect Ukrainian cities from Russian shelling is to provide Ukraine with the opportunity to attack military facilities on Russian territory, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine said, commenting on the massive overnight strike.
“Tonight, Russia conducted one of the largest drone attacks to date, using almost a hundred Shahed drones. Additionally, one missile was launched from the temporarily occupied part of the Kherson region. Ukrainian defenders successfully downed all 89 drones,” the ministry said on X Wednesday.
“When the enemy targets our cities, the only solution is to push them back. Ukraine should be able not only to repel Russia’s attacks but also to strike the military targets inside Russia from where these attacks originate,” the ministry said.
