Social Policy Ministry reports 119 human trafficking victims since beginning of 2024
The status of human trafficking victim has been given to 119 citizens of Ukraine since the beginning of 2024, according to the Social Policy Ministry of Ukraine.
The ministry specified that the 119 victims include 44 women, 65 men, and ten children (five boys and five girls).
According to the statistics data, 13 people were victims of sexual exploitation, eight – of labor exploitation, seven were involved in begging, three – in criminal activities, one – in the sale of children, 17 – in armed conflicts, and 70 – in other types of exploitation.
The ministry also said that 72 people were victims of domestic human trafficking, 45 – abroad, and two people suffered from other types of human trafficking.
