Zelenskyy on anniversary of terrorist attack in Olenivka: No scenario where killers remain unpunished
On the anniversary of the terrorist attack in Olenivka, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called this crime by Russian occupiers one of the most terrible during the Russian war against Ukraine.
"Today in Ukraine we remember our people who were killed by Russian monsters in Olenivka. One of the most terrible Russian crimes of this war. Russia must be held accountable for this and will be. And there is no scenario where the killers will remain unpunished. Eternal memory to all our people who were killed by the occupiers," he said in an evening video address.
On the night of July 29, 2022, Russian occupiers killed prisoners of war with an explosion in a barracks in the penal colony in Olenivka (Donetsk region). At least 53 defenders of Azovstal were killed.
