Power facilities in Chernihiv and Dnipropetrovsk regions, mine in Donetsk region attacked - Energy Ministry

Over the past 24 hours, Russian troops shelled power transmission facilities in Chernihiv region three times, as a result of which substations and overhead lines, as well as household consumers connected to them, were de-energized.

"A total of 2,946 consumers were de-energized," the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reported on Saturday.

Due to the UAV attack, equipment was damaged on the territory of one of the substations in Dnipropetrovsk region.

In addition, in Donetsk region, as a result of enemy shelling of the territory of a mine, a fire broke out. At the time of the accident, 86 people were in the mine. 84 people were brought to the surface, two workers involved in work to ensure the life of the enterprise remained in the mine. The fire was extinguished.

According to the ministry, 485 settlements in Ukraine remain without power supply due to military actions and technical violations.

Over the past 24 hours, Ukraine additionally attracted emergency assistance from Slovakia and Poland during evening peak hours. The Ukrainian energy system also received surplus electricity from the Polish energy system.
