Witnesses saw suspect in Farion's murder, even talked to him, but none contacted police - Interior Minister
Despite the fact that the suspect in the murder of the deputy of Ukraine of the 6th convocation from the All-Ukrainian Association Svoboda, ex-lecturer of the Lviv Polytechnic University, Iryna Farion, was repeatedly seen by people near her house dressed in bright clothes, no one reported about him to law enforcement agencies, said Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Ihor Klymenko.
"No one contacted the law enforcement agencies, watching this person for a long time on the site in the neighborhood. Witnesses tell us that this is an internally displaced person, of whom there are many, but this person stood out. And dozens of witnesses saw his bright clothes, and some even communicated with him," the minister said at a briefing in Lviv on Friday.
The Interior Minister stressed: "In such cases, during martial law ... we need to be very careful and trust each other: citizens to law enforcement agencies and vice versa."
