Suspect in Farion’s murder being checked for involvement in neo–Nazi movement - dpty SBU head
The investigation is verifying the suspect in the murder of of Ukrainian deputy of the 6th convocation from the All-Ukrainian Association Svoboda, ex-teacher of the Lviv Polytechnic University, Iryna Farion, for involvement in the neo-Nazi movement, the center of which is located in the Russian Federation, first deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) Serhiy Andriuschenko has said.
"We are checking his involvement in the neo-Nazi movement, the center of which is located in the aggressor country, his connections on the territory of Ukraine and the motives for committing this crime," he said at a briefing in Lviv on Friday.
"This is either religious hostility or national hostility," Andriuschenko clarified possible motives.
