Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin, during a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv, confirmed the Pope's commitment to finding a just and lasting peace for Ukraine.
"Today, Cardinal Secretary of State Pietro Parolin met with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, who he confirmed the Pope's closeness and commitment to finding a just and lasting peace for suffering Ukraine," the State Secretariat of the Holy See said on the social network X.
On July 19, the Secretary of State of the Holy See, Cardinal Pietro Parolin, traveled to Ukraine as a special envoy of the Pope on the occasion of the final services of the pilgrimage at the sanctuary of the Virgin Mary in Berdychiv.
