MFA: Five Ukrainians, incl four children, are in critical condition after accident in Poland
Five citizens of Ukraine, including four children, are in critical condition as a result of a traffic accident in the Lubusz Voivodeship in Poland, consular representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Victoria Shi said.
"At about 04:00 on July 20, near the Polish city of Świecko in the Lubusz Voivodeship, a minibus collided with a technical vehicle. There were nine Ukrainian citizens on the bus. All of them were hospitalized," the representative said.
The condition of five Ukrainian citizens is assessed as critical. Among them are four children aged two, three, four and 15 years.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the consul of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Wroclaw is on his way to the scene of the emergency. He will provide consular escort, visit medical institutions where the injured Ukrainians are located and clarify the circumstances of the accident.
"We wish a speedy recovery to the citizens of Ukraine. The case is under special control of the Consulate General of Ukraine in Wroclaw," the MFA consular representative said.
