Attack on Farion classified as attempted premeditated murder – Interior Ministry
The attack on the philologist, former MP of Ukraine of the sixth convocation from the All-Ukrainian Association Svoboda (Freedom), former teacher at Lviv Polytechnic University Iryna Farion was qualified as attempted premeditated murder.
"The victim's condition is serious, doctors are fighting for her life," Ukrainian Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko said in his Telegram channel.
According to him, police and other services are working at the scene of the shooting. "There are testimonies, data from CCTV cameras is being processed. The crime is in the active phase. I systematically receive reports from the police leadership about the measures taken and the circumstances established. If you have information about the circumstances of this crime, inform the police. This data must be correctly recorded and thoroughly checked," Klymenko said.
