Doctors fighting for life of Iryna Farion – Zelenskyy

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated the need to bring to justice those who committed an armed attack on the former MP of Ukraine and former teacher at Lviv Polytechnic University Iryna Farion.

"Doctors are fighting for the life of Iryna Farion," Zelenskyy said on Telegram on Friday evening.

He said all the necessary forces of the National Police and the State Security Service of Ukraine are involved in establishing the circumstances of the shooting.

"Minister of Internal Affairs Ihor Klymenko and head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk promptly report on the search for the attacker of Iryna Farion," the president said.

According to the head of state, "it is obvious that any violence deserves only condemnation and everyone who is to blame for this attack must bear full responsibility."
