Vatican Secretary of State comes to Ukraine on official visit – Lviv mayor
Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin arrived in Ukraine on an official visit, Mayor of Lviv Anriy Sadovy said.
"This is actually the second person after the Pope in the Vatican. He will be in Ukraine for several days, visiting Odesa, Kyiv and Zhytomyr region," Sadovy said in Telegram on Friday evening.
According to him, "one of the main issues that was raised at the meeting was the role of the Vatican in the exchange of prisoners of war and the return of dead Ukrainian defenders from abroad; body exchange is a complex topic, but we cannot remain silent about it."
"Thank you for your clear position! We hope for the result," the mayor of Lviv.
