Zelenskyy, Danish PM discuss participation in Ukraine's energy system restoration
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, on the sidelines of the European Political Community summit in Great Britain, met with Prime Minister of Denmark Matte Frederiksen.
The head of state thanked the Danish government for its leadership support for Ukraine in the field of security, the provision of 19 packages of defense assistance and the decision to make direct investments in the defense industry of our country.
The president also noted Denmark's leadership in the air force coalition and spoke about Ukraine's need to expand training missions for Ukrainian pilots.
The leaders discussed the implementation of the bilateral security agreement they signed in February this year and Denmark's participation in the reconstruction of Ukraine, in particular in rebuilding the energy infrastructure.
Separately, during the meeting, attention was paid to the European integration of Ukraine. Zelenskyy noted Denmark's readiness to take part in political and advisory assistance to Ukraine during negotiations on accession to the EU.
