Poroshenko posts bail of UAH 9 mln for ex-intelligence officer Chervinsky
The leader of the European Solidarity party, MP Petro Poroshenko on Tuesday posted the full amount of bail in the amount of UAH 9 million for former employee of the Main Intelligence Agency Roman Chervinsky.
"I couldn't wait, so the entire bail of UAH 9 million for the freedom of Roman Chervinsky was paid in the morning. I hope that after a year of bullying and countless court hearings, he will be free today," Poroshenko said on Facebook.
Chervinsky is a defendant in the case of a Russian strike on an airfield near Kropyvnytsky. The SBU is investigating the circumstances of the rocket attack on Kanatove airfield in Kirovograd region in July 2022; he is charged with committing a crime under the article Exceeding power or official powers by a military official of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
