As result of missile attack on Okhmatdyt, 300 injured – clinic director general
As a result of a missile attack on the Okhmatdyt National Children's Hospital on Monday, 300 people were injured, Director General of the clinic Volodymyr Zhovnir said.
"In total, 300 people were injured in the hospital," he said during a telethon on Monday.
Zhovnir also reported that five employees of the Okhmatdyt National Security Service who were wounded during the missile attack remain in hospitals in severe condition.
"They are in quite serious condition, treatment is ongoing and we do not understand when they will leave the treatment process," the director general of the clinic said.
As reported, a Russian missile strike on Monday damaged four medical buildings and one administrative building at Okhmatdyt. About 50 people were injured, including eight children, and two doctors were killed.
