Bezuhla removed from position as head of subcommittee in National Security Committee

The Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence dismissed MP Maryana Bezuhla (from the Servant of the People faction) as head of the subcommittee on civil democratic oversight and control.

"The Committee's reaction to the truth about the problems in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the appeals of the military today was a vote on my removal from the post of head of the subcommittee on issues of civil democratic oversight and control. Theses: the military leadership cannot be discredited, brigade commanders will soon be removed via Facebook, etc," Bezuhla said on Facebook on Monday.

She also said she remains the deputy head of the Committee, a member of the committee and a MP of Ukraine.

As reported, on January 6, a group of MPs registered draft resolution No. 10391 on the recall of Bezuhla from the post of deputy chairman of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, but no decision was made.
