Zelenskyy announces signing of security agreements with Czech Republic, Slovenia, Ireland
Ukraine is preparing to sign new security agreements with the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and Ireland, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on a video address on Sunday, July 14.
The head of state recalled that Ukraine has signed security commitments with Poland, Luxembourg, and Romania last week.
"And now our team is working on new documents. There will be agreements with the Czech Republic, Slovenia, and following a meeting with the Irish Prime Minister, we have also made a decision to work on [another security] agreement," he said.
Zelenskyy also said that during his recent visit to the United States, new decisions were made on providing Ukraine with Patriot air defense systems and dozens of other air defense capabilities.
"We are applying efforts to increase number of Ukrainian Patriots. I am grateful to all our partners for helping us," he said.
