Ukraine exporting grain 2.6 times more actively in 2024/25 than one year ago
Since the beginning of the 2024/25 marketing year (July 2024 – June 2025), Ukraine has exported 718,000 tonnes of grain and legumes, which is 2.6 times more active than a year earlier when exports amounted to 276,000 tonnes, reported the press service of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
According to the report, as of July 5, Ukraine exported 245,000 tonnes of wheat, compared to 65,000 tonnes a year earlier, 3,000 tonnes of barley (20,000 tonnes), and 468,000 tonnes of corn (191,000 tonnes).
At the same time, the total export of Ukrainian flour since the beginning of the season is estimated at 1,100 tonnes (1,500 tonnes in 2023/24), including wheat flour – 1,000 tonnes (1,500 tonnes).
