Epicenter preparing to launch fourth production line at ceramic tiles plant in Kyiv region
The Epicenter group of companies is preparing to launch the fourth production line at the ceramic tile plant in Kalynivka (Kyiv region), said Dmytro Kysylevsky, deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee on economic development.
“In the coming weeks, the ceramic tile plant will launch a fourth production line. It has been installed, and debugging work is ahead. This will increase production from 9 million to 12 million square meters of tiles per year,” he said on Facebook.
According to him, investments in the creation of the plant amount to $140 million, 480 jobs have been created. At the same time, more than 200 production employees have been mobilized, the MP notes.
Kysylevsky said that the construction of two Epicenter factories is also planned in Kalynivka, for which the local community must allocate a plot of land.
“It’s up to the local community, which must allocate land to create 2,420 jobs, as well as the Ministry of Economy, which must develop a regulatory framework for a law on supporting projects with large investments,” he noted.
