Ukrainian market ready to produce more than one mln drones
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal says that the Ukrainian market is ready to produce more than 1 million drones, and the state will buy back everything that business can do.
"We understand that our business and the market in Ukraine are already ready to produce more than 1 million drones. We will buy back everything that our business can do in order to transfer to our Security and Defense Forces to protect the country," Shmyhal said at a press conference in Kyiv on Monday.
The Prime Minister also noted that significant funds are allocated specifically for the purchase of weapons from Ukrainian manufacturers.
"The task costs 50% of the funds allocated for the purchase of weapons and military equipment, to use it in the country and contract domestic manufacturers," he added.
Shmyhal stressed that the focus today is on drones and electronic warfare.
