Implementation of Buy Ukrainian cashback program to require about 3 months of technical development
The implementation of the state cashback program Buy Ukrainian, which was presented by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Monday, will require about three months of technical development with the participation of commercial banks, First Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Economy Yulia Svyrydenko predicts.
"I think we need three months to technically develop this solution. Obviously, all commercial banks should be involved, obviously, we must decide what types of products it (cashback) should apply to, and calculate our sources (of financing) to cover this program," she told reporters at the Made in Ukraine forum in Kyiv on Monday.
Svyrydenko noted that this program will have an effect both on the economy and on increasing the loyalty of Ukrainian consumers to domestic goods.
As reported, Zelenskyy at the forum on Monday announced the launch of the Buy Ukrainian cashback program, under which citizens of Ukraine will be able to receive compensation for part of the payment for Ukrainian goods and services.
