Cabinet to allocate UAH 4.5 bln for rehabilitation programs in 11 regions
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine will allocate UAH 4.5 billion in subventions for renewal programs to local budgets of eleven regions. These are funds for the restoration of social and critical infrastructure, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said at a government meeting on Tuesday.
"Last year we managed to restore 37,400 objects. Among them are 685 educational institutions, 390 medical and social institutions, almost 2,900 water, gas and heat supply facilities, 22,900 private and multi-storey residential buildings," the Prime Minister said.
He said that he expects that in 2024 the communities will also make effective use of state aid.
"The most important thing is for people to see a tangible result of the work of local authorities," Shmyhal stressed.
