DTEK imports over 100,000 tonnes of coal from Poland
DTEK has imported 103,000 tonnes of thermal coal from Poland since September of this year, the company's press service reported.
Supplies of Polish coal to the company's thermal power plants are carried out on a regular basis; by the end of the heating period 2023/2024, it is planned to import another 177,000 tonnes of coal.
According to Ildar Saleev, General Director of DTEK Energy, this will help maintain the reliability of thermal generation and the energy system so that Ukrainians have light and heat in winter.
As reported, the first batch of coal from Poland in the amount of 4,200 tonnes was delivered to DTEK at the end of September.
