Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant cuts sinter ore production by 28.3% in Jan-Oct
Kryvy Rih Iron Ore Plant in January-October of this year reduced the production of marketable underground iron ore by 28.3% compared to the same period last year, to 1.903 million tonnes.
According to the enterprise, in October the Pokrovska mine produced 23,000 tonnes of ore, Kryvy Rih mine – 40,000 tonnes, Kozatska – 10,000 tonnes and Ternovska – 40,000 tonnes, for the plant as a whole in October production amounted to 113,000 tonnes.
As reported, the plant in 2022 reduced the production of marketable iron ore from underground mining by 32.8% compared to the previous year, to 2.888 million tonnes.
The plant specializes in underground mining of iron ore. Starmill Limited owns 99.88% of the plant's shares.
