Ukrgasbank to provide loans to farmers for demining farmland
The state-owned Ukrgasbank (Kyiv) is launching lending to the agricultural sector for clearing fields within the framework of the government program Available loans 5-7-9%, the bank's press service has reported.
"Clearing land from mines is important for the safety of Ukrainians, for the restoration of the agricultural sector and ecosystems, which are suffering greatly due to hostilities. Therefore, we are offering a loan program for clearing fields," acting Deputy Board Chairman of Ukrgasbank Rodion Morozov said.
According to the report, thanks to the bank's credit support, farmers will be able to use the services of certified mine action operators and resume growing crops.
