Naftogaz decides to implement some projects in solar, wind energy in near future – Chernyshov
The Naftogaz group recently decided to implement a number of renewable energy projects in Ukraine, and intends to start investing in them this year, its head Oleksiy Chernyshov said.
"We recently decided to implement two wind power plant projects (WPPs). This will be in the south of Ukraine. We will also increase our presence in solar energy and build new plants," Chernyshov said in a commentary to Interfax-Ukraine on the sidelines of the forum Success Formula for Ukraine: Big Day with NV on Saturday.
"We don't have Napoleonic plans for 2024, we'll start with medium-sized projects," the head of the company added, promising to reveal the details a little later.
At the same time, he noted that Naftogaz considers it necessary to develop green energy even during war.
