DTEK repairs 20 of 27 power units planned by late 2023
DTEK has repaired the 20th power unit of the thermal power plant out of the planned 27 in 2023.
"Today, DTEK energy workers added another thermal power plant unit to the reliability of the Ukrainian power system after repairs. Already the fifth in October and the 20th since the beginning of the year," the energy holding said in a press release on Monday.
The power unit will increase the balancing capacity of the Ukrainian power system by an additional 240 MW.
"In total, this year DTEK plans to carry out repairs at 27 power units. The company will invest about UAH 3.9 billion in this, which is almost twice as much as last year," the company said.
As reported, DTEK Energy previously managed to repair 19 planned power units by the beginning of the heating season of 2023/2024.
