Shmyhal: UAH 62.3 bln allocated for various recovery programs after Russian aggression
Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal chaired a meeting of the Presidium of the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities under the President of Ukraine, dedicated to the issues of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, and noted that UAH 62.3 billion were allocated from the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression for various reconstruction programs .
"In addition, UAH 62.3 billion were allocated from the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression for various restoration programs. Almost UAH 1.7 billion of them are allocated for Sumy region, some UAH 673 million for Chernihiv region," Shmyhal said on the Telegram channel on Saturday in the morning.
The head of the Ukrainian government also said Chernihiv region is 99.5% prepared for heating, Sumy region is 99.1%. In addition, Indestructibility Points were created in the regions some 330 and 541, respectively.
"We continue to insist on a clear priority of spending for the regions: security and defense, social benefits, medicine, education, critical infrastructure, rapid recovery," Shmyhal said.
