Ukraine spends $8.3 bln on war with Russia – Finance Minister
Ukraine was forced to spend UAH 245.1 billion, or $8.3 billion, on the war with Russia, while this resource was supposed to go to the country's development, Finance Minister Serhiy Marchenko said.
As he told Reuters, these expenditures, originally included in the state budget for development, went to defense needs and social support – from the purchase and repair of weapons to emergency support for internally displaced people.
