Ukraine's dpty PM asks intl services, social networks to block their content in Russia
Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov has turned to a number of global services and social networks with a request to block their content for citizens of the Russian Federation.
"I turned to YouTube about blocking Russian propaganda media that call us 'Nazis and drug addicts', they lie and propagate the war. I turned to Meta about blocking Facebook and Instagram. I turned to Netflix about blocking the service in the Russian Federation," he wrote on the telegram channel.
He stressed that the goal of such actions is not to deprive Russians of access to information, but to reach out to young people, a proactive and thinking population.
Fedorov also said that Russia is already seeing problems accessing ApplePay.
