NBU bans foreign exchange transactions with Russian and Belarusian rubles for banks
The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) has banned authorized institutions from making any foreign exchange transactions using Russian rubles and Belarusian rubles, as well as transactions involving a legal entity or individual located in the Russian Federation or Belarus.
As the National Bank said on Friday morning, the NBU board made appropriate changes to the resolution dated February 24, 2022 No. 18 "On the operation of the banking system during the introduction of martial law."
According to it, a ban on the fulfillment of obligations to legal entities or individuals located in the Russian Federation or Belarus has also been introduced.
