Shebelynka gas refinery for first time carries out maintenance work without stopping refining
Shebelynka gas refinery (Kharkiv region) in April completed preventive maintenance work, which was for the first time carried out without stopping production processes.
According to a report on the Šhebel website, thanks to the optimization of maintenance work, the refinery managed to produce an additional 14,000 tonnes of finished products in April.
"In previous years, during maintenance work, we practiced stopping the refinery for two or three weeks. This led to a decrease in production volumes. This year, taking into account the situation on the Ukrainian motor fuel market and the real threat of a shortage of petroleum products, we decided not to shut down the refinery. Maintenance work at the units was carried out in stages, in a short time and with the involvement of experienced specialists," Director for Commercial Affairs of JSC Ukrgazvydobuvannia Serhiy Fedorenko said.
According to the report, the preventive maintenance work in April also completed the Timofiyivske and Solokhivske gas processing units.
