Cabinet publishes resolution on maximum gas price for population of UAH 6.99 per cubic meter in Feb-March
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine published on the government portal resolution No. 25 dated January 18, 2021, which introduces the maximum gas price of UAH 6.99 per cubic meter for household consumers (population) in February-March 2021.
The restriction on the price of gas for the population was introduced by expanding quarantine resolution No.1236 dated December 9, 2020, which was expanded with the paragraph: "To establish from February 1, 2021 for the period of the quarantine, but no longer than until March 31, 2021, the maximum price for natural gas under supply contracts between residential consumers and suppliers, including the supplier of 'last resort,' at the level of UAH 6.99 per cubic meter (including VAT, charges for transportation by main gas pipelines to internal points of exit from the gas transmission system)."
