Railway communication during 'lockdown' to be fully provided - Ukrzaliznytsia

JSC Ukrzaliznytsia (UZ) will provide long-distance and suburban trains running during the strengthening of quarantine in the country, which is planned from 8 to 24 January, the press service of UZ said on Tuesday.

The company also reported that it will provide all anti-epidemic measures for the safety of passengers while traveling.

"We urge passengers to be sure to observe the mask mode while traveling and use an antiseptic. In case of violation of these standards, please contact our contact center: 800 50 31 11. We will instantly respond to such violations," the message says.

As reported, an enhanced quarantine will operate throughout Ukraine from January 8 to January 24, as part of countering the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19.
