Slight overfulfillment of 2020 state budget expected due to tax revenues - Finance Minister
Ukraine's Minister of Finance Serhiy Marchenko expects a slight overfulfillment of the national budget in terms of revenues over 2020 due to tax revenues.
"Now we have reached the target, and I think that by the end of the year we will have a slight overfulfillment of the planned state budget revenues. This is mainly due to the work of the tax service in minimizing value-added tax evasion schemes," he said during the EBA Annual General Membership Meeting 2020 on Thursday, November 19.
The minister said that the budgetary refund of value added tax (VAT) is conducted on time. According to Marchenko, the Ministry of Finance expects that the fall in GDP by the end of this year will be less than 5%.
