Antitrust agency permits businessman Bakhmatiuk's Ukrlandfarming to acquire Rise agribusiness
Ukrlandfarming (Cyprus) of Ukrainian businessman Oleh Bakhmatiuk, has obtained a permit from the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine to buy Kyiv-based public JSC Rise agri-holding, the committee reported on March 18.
Antimonopoly Committee First Deputy Chairman Yuriy Kravchenko earlier said that there was an application from Ukrlandfarming regarding the purchase of Rise. This concerns its land and sugar beet processing assets, he said.
