Talks between Russia and Ukraine with the purpose of formalizing and implementing understandings reached on cooperation in the gas sphere have begun in Vienna.
"Russian-Ukrainian gas talks in keeping with the protocol of December 20 have begun in Vienna," a spokesperson for Russian gas giant Gazprom told reporters.
