eBay promises to remove products with symbols of "DPR," "LPR" from its website
The eBay company has promised to remove products with the symbols of the terrorist groups "DPR" and "LPR" from its website, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy to the United States has said.
"Based on the results of an appeal by the Ukrainian ambassador to the U.S. Valeriy Chaly to the management of eBay Inc. calling to remove goods with the symbols of the terrorist organizations "DPR" and "LPR" from ebay.com, the embassy received an official response, which clearly states that the company will take the necessary measures and remove the mentioned products from its website, since these two organizations are included in the U.S. and EU sanctions lists, and the money received from the sale of these goods can be used for their financial support," the statement reads.
The embassy also noted that they expect the appropriate steps from Amazon Inc.
