Ammo explosion cause no harm to infrastructure of Ukrenergo's trunk power lines, power grid operating as usual
Ammunition explosions on the territory of Ichnia in Chernihiv region did not cause harm to infrastructure of trunk power transmission lines of National Energy Company Ukrenergo, as all facilities are located at safe distance from the epicenter of explosions.
"According to the operational dispatching department of Ukrenergo, the power grid of Ukraine is operating as usual," the state-owned company said.
At the same time, as of 14:00, due to a power outage, there were 1,016 subscribers in seven settlements of Ichnia district left without power supplies.
"The divisions of Ukrenergo and the Central Energy System are monitoring the situation and are ready to take the required measures promptly," the company said.
Ukrenergo operates trunk and interstate transmission lines, as well as centralized dispatching of the country's integrated power grids. Ukrenergo is a state-owned enterprise under Ukraine's Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry, but it will be transformed into a private joint-stock company soon.
