Ukrtransgaz signs contracts for supply of 2.22 bcm of gas

JSC Ukrtransgaz has signed all contracts after tenders announced in June to supply 2.22 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas for industrial needs and balancing.

According to the reports in the ProZorro e-procurement system, at the end of September two contracts with ERU Trading LLC for supply of 350.9 million cubic meters (mcm) of gas for UAH 2.942 billion and one contract with Trafigura Ukraine LLC for supply of 134 mcm of gas for UAH 1.126 billion.

At the end of August the company signed seven contracts with Naftogaz Ukrainy for delivery of 1.518 bcm of gas for UAH 12.642 billion and one contract with Trafigura Ukraine for supply of 216.9 mcm of gas for UAH 1.779 billion.

One tender out of 12 tenders announced on June 22 and June 23 did not take place (for supply of 216.9 mcm of gas), as less than two bidders were registered.

The term of gas supply is from September 1, 2018 through April 2019.

The final price of gas to be paid by Ukrtransgaz to the winners of the tenders will be determined, taking into account quotations at NetConnect Germany (NCG) in the period when gas is delivered.
