Energy market regulator postpones switch to daily gas balancing for Dec 1
The National Commission for the State Regulation of Energy, Housing and Utilities Services (NCER) has postponed the date of introducing daily gas balancing from October 1 to December 1, 2018.
The decision was made by the regulator at a meeting on Friday.
Within the time limit the operator of the gas transmission system (GTS) should conduct a comprehensive testing of the information platform for daily balancing and review it. In turn, regional and city supply gas companies should ensure the filling of the system with data from consumers.
As reported, earlier, the NCER had already transferred the date of transition to daily balancing - from August 1 to October 1, 2018.
