IMF replaces Extended Fund Facility for Ukraine by stand-by arrangement
The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has replaced the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) for Ukraine by a stand-by arrangement, President's Envoy in the Verkhovna Rada, MP from Petro Poroshenko Bloc Iryna Lutsenko has said.
"...The IMF has changed the assistance program it worked with to the stand-by arrangement. The international stand-by arrangement is given to those countries that have emerged from the pre-default state. Even the fact that the IMF has changed the program for the country, which is beginning to develop, but which still has problems and which is no longer in the pre-default state, is evidence that the international financial institutions recognize the fact that Ukraine shows very good growth," Lutsenko said on the 112.Ukraine TV channel.
