Tymoshenko doesn't rule out Constitutional Court will determine June 2019 date of presidential elections
Leader of the Batkivschyna party Yulia Tymoshenko admits that the incumbent Constitutional Court of Ukraine will determine that the presidential elections in Ukraine should be held not in March but in June 2019, if there is no appropriate appeal to the Constitutional Court.
"Now they are trying to interpret that the presidential elections should be held not at the end of March, as it is written in the Constitution, this is the last Sunday in March. This is a direct phrase from the Constitution. They want to prove that it's June. Why June? Believe me, I'm not ruling out that this Constitutional Court will say that this is June and they won't read the Constitution," she said when presenting the concept of a new "People's Constitution" in Kyiv.
