Ukraine's government cancels gas subsidies from Oct 1 for households without gas meters

Ukraine's Cabinet of Ministers has decided to cancel subsidies for natural gas from October 1 to households without gas meters.

"Benefits and subsidies for payment of natural gas supplies will not be paid as of October 1 to households that have not installed individual gas meters and refused in written form from their installation at the expense of budget funds or those of operators of gas distribution networks," a government resolution said.
