Naftogaz will raise gas price for industrial consumers by 4.6% in Sept
Naftogaz Ukrainy from September 1, 2018 will increase the price of gas sold to industrial consumers on a prepayment basis by 4.6% (UAH 469.2) compared to August, to UAH 10,600 for 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).
According to the company, this price is relevant for consumers buying gas on a prepayment basis in the amount of more than 50,000 cubic meters per month, provided that there are no debts to the company, and for 100% subsidiaries of the company.
For other buyers, the price next month will also increase by 4.6% (by UAH 511.2), to UAH 11,594 per 1,000 cubic meters (including VAT).
As reported, Ukraine from October 1, 2015 canceled state regulation for gas prices for all categories of consumers, except for the population and heating companies for the needs of the population. Since that time, Naftogaz Ukrainy has been supplying gas to industrial consumers, budget organizations and other business entities on market terms.
