ProZorro saves over UAH 55 bln of budget funds in two years of operation
The ProZorro public e-procurement system in two years of its operation saved UAH 55.3 billion of budget funds, the press service of the Economic Development and Trade Ministry of Ukraine has reported.
"On August 1, 2016 the public procurement fully switched to the electronic platform. Since then the ProZorro has saved UAH 55.3 billion of budget funds and continues saving every day," the ministry said on Wednesday.
The ministry said that ProZorro provides everyone with equal access to information. Anyone now knows what and at what prices they sell/buy to/from the state. Every businessman can now sell his goods or services to the state. And the main thing is that you do not need to be familiar with the officials for this.
"The success of the ProZorro system is so amazing that other countries are asking for advice on reforming public procurement in their countries," the Economic Development and Trade Ministry said, congratulating all those involved on the second anniversary of the switch to ProZorro.
